Simple to use
Parents should have a car seat and stroller combination that is easy to use. These travel systems make it simple to switch between running errands, walking the dog, or going for a run. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to move. But even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pulled by one hand.
Some models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps however it could lead to dangerous results.
Certain models are also more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less convenient. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is hard to fold due to its massive dimensions and heavy frame. Some users also find the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold, with only one button and pulling the lever. This model is also a good choice for parents who intend to use their car seat on other people's vehicles as it can be removed from the base and reattached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold

It should be easy to unfold and fold the car seat, regardless of whether you are storing it in your trunk or the closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily with one hand and are sturdy enough to be used on long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. Some combos are linked and disengaged by straps. This can seem like a step in the back and make it more difficult for parents to secure their child's car seat properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a fantastic choice due to its robust construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that can be accessed from either the front or back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to achieve a secure car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and clicking the carrier into the base.
It's also relatively lightweight, making it a great option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our user-friendliness tests. Both have a single wheel that is easy to push with just one hand. Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). 2 in 1 prams come with a flexible swivel wheel, perfect for shopping or running errands. The only drawback is that they are heavy and are difficult to lift up when carrying a child in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Certain car seat and stroller combinations can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It even comes with a helpful guide. Other models we tried, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to put together. Contrary to that the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that go over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to snap the carrier into the base, and then remove it.
In our tests, we took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. 2 in 1 pushchairs is a relatively simple process when you consider the time saved from not having to rip out each piece. The toddler seat can be put together and detached easily on most of these models.
